Hoddesdon, Tower Centre
In 2010, the obsolete Tower Centre in Hoddesdon was acquired for part redevelopment to create a new Morrisons food store.
- Originally developed in the 1960s, the 40-unit, 120,000 sq ft centre had failed to meet modern retail requirements
- Working closely with Borough of Broxbourne Council and Hastoe Housing
Business Plan & Achievements
Centros has redeveloped the old centre to create a new 58,000 sq ft food store with associated parking underneath the retained residential tower.
The scheme gained planning consent in 2011 and demolition and construction work commenced in summer 2012. The new Morrisons store opened in December 2013.
