Sovereign Centros is boosting the casual dining offer at St. Enoch Centre in Glasgow, securing four new restaurant operators in the shopping centre.

In the leisure hub at the eastern end of St. Enoch, American chicken wings eatery, Wingstop, has taken a 3,175 sq ft unit on a new 15-year lease without breaks while wagamama has also agreed a 15-year deal with a break option after 10 years for a 4,615 sq ft restaurant.

Wingstop is expected to open for trading this Autumn with wagamama set to open their doors next spring to meet demand for their iconic bowls in the city.

Elsewhere in the centre, the German doner kebab and chicken restaurant YaYas is set to open on the 1st floor this Autumn while Salt and Pepper, which specialises in Asian cuisine will open on St. Enoch Square.

Starbucks has relocated to a larger 2,763 sq ft unit in the centre.

Created out of a former BHS store, the £50 million leisure hub at the eastern end of St. Enoch comprises a nine-screen Vue cinema and five other restaurants, of which only one is now available. Other F&B operators include Cosmo, Namaste by Delhi Darbar, Nandos, and Philly Steaks ‘N’ Shakes.

Alongside the restaurant quarter, and a thriving food court at the western end of the centre, Level X and Boom Battle Bar provide a great variety of leisure activities, completing the transition of St. Enoch into a truly mixed use destination, at the intersection of the thriving Buchanan Street and Argyle Street, in the heart of Glasgow.

Mike Egerton, Senior Asset Manager at Sovereign Centros, commented: “These new restaurants significantly broaden our food and beverage offer at St. Enoch and complement the Vue cinema and other leisure experiences that are available for all age groups.”

Tom Grogan, Co-Founder of Wingstop UK “We are thrilled to announce our latest milestone in Glasgow – Wingstop UK is now making its home at St. Enoch, a location we’ve had our eyes on for some time.
